Attached to the Africa Business School (ABS), at the Mohamed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P), the Chair of Complexities and Humanities is tasked with reinforcing the ties with other UM6P Schools and Departments by facilitating:<\/p>\n

The objective of the Chair of Complexities and Humanities is to support actors within UM6P in their processes of transformation and learning. By providing young managers, engineers, scientific researchers and students \u2013 who are well trained in cutting-edge fields \u2013 with a mastery of transdisciplinary tools, the ambition is to reinforce their self-reliance and to empower them with a humanist and civic culture.<\/p>\n
M. Reda Benkirane, appointed as Affiliate Full Professor, is in charge of this new Chair.<\/p>\n
M. Benkirane, a sociologist and doctor in philosophy (study of systems), has a dual background as a social science researcher and an expert in international affairs. His multidisciplinary approach, empirical knowledge and publications are all based on a methodolocal approach which relies on a heuristics of dialog\u00a0(as a path to knowledge otherwise out of reach), sustained attention to otherness, diversity and singularity, the understanding of nonlinear and contradictory phenomena, deep listening and participant observation.<\/p>\n
